Program Ages:
We are excited to announce that tryouts are currently being held for ages U8 teams through U14 teams (or 2nd grade through 8th grade). Whether your child is a budding soccer star or just starting their journey, we welcome them to join us for a fun and competitive tryout experience.
But that’s not all! DC CRU is working hard to expand our club offerings up to U14, and we’ll have exciting announcements about that soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
Pratices and Games:
As we prepare for the upcoming soccer seasons, we want to provide you with an overview of practices and games. Practices are generally held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM during both the spring and fall seasons, taking place on Dayton Christian’s campus. This consistency helps the players develop a routine and allows parents to plan accordingly.
Games, however, can be a bit unpredictable each season due to the extensive scheduling involved with over 250 teams in the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association (MVYSA). We do our best to ensure no games are scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays to respect church commitments. For the most current season information and schedules, please visit the MVYSA website.
Additionally, out of our 8 games each season, 4 are played at home on DC’s campus, making it convenient for both players and parents. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate the scheduling process and strive to provide a positive and enriching experience for all our athletes.
Important Notes:
- PLEASE NOTE: All kids wanting to try out need to register prior to tryouts.
- Kids must come prepared with the following:
